This feature is used to Bulk update of the of the items in either of One group, One type, One Category. In this we can simply update the details which needs to be change in a single click.

Create Bulk Update

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Masters tab > Item > Item.
• Click on “BULK UPDATE” button.
• Click on “EDIT” tab.
• After that, you can filter the data according to your need from the above menus. Like if you want only Raw material item select “Raw Material” from Item Category.
• If you want to add more columns or you want to editing in a selected Column, Click on “Column tab” and select that particular column.
• Do Updation after that.
• Click on “Update“, then your data is bulkily updated.

Bulk Upload is the very convenient functionality is our ERP. In this all the masters like Customer, Vendor & Item details can be uploaded in a single click. As we know when a new company is created, all the masters need to be added. For this we need to have eport all the data in the Excel format just make sure to synchronize the data in the same format as we have in our

Create Bulk Item Upload Items

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Masters tab > Item > Item.
• Click on “BULK” button.
• After clicking on BULK button format page in appear according to which data need to be present in Excel sheet.
• Synchronize Excel sheet with the above format.
• Click on EDIT Insert the Excel Column Name which is present the upload Excel sheet.
• After Editing, Click on “NEXT” tab.
• Upload the Excel file from where data need to be uploaded.
• Click on “Upload and Preview”.
• When the Uploaded data is matched, Click on “Confirm” tab.
• Then data is uploaded.

When any configurable item is created, it’s variants are also created parallelly so that it can be easy to find out in which forms it can be distinguish. So that we can easily create BOM, SO, PO etc. for those Items.

Steps to create Variants of Configurable item

When you create Configurable item and after it is successfully saved when you open the item you’ll see the next tab in which “Item Variant” is written. So, Now let’s proceed how to create variants to Configurable items.

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Manufacturing > Masters > Items.
• Click on the Item you have created which is appearing in the grid
• Click on “Variant Creation” tab.
• Click on “Edit”.
• After clicking on Edit, “Size Units”, “Attribute Color” & “Other Attribute” are added accordingly to added these attributes while creating Item.

SIZE UNITS

For differentiating in terms of Size we can add Size attributes in our item. For e.g. : If our item is one but has different sizes in terms of length, breadth & height. Then we can add ‘n’ numbers of Length, breadth and height variants.

COLOR

If our item is having different shades in single item, then we can add number of colors. We can also differentiate our item if it is available in colors in edges, legs and many more.

OTHER ATTRIBUTES

If our item is is having other differentiating feature other than Size and color like brand name then we can add those attributes here.

OTHER ITEM DETAILS

In this we can add other details like UOM, Alternate UOM(Alternate UOM is used when the raw material is calculated in other UOM), Conversion formula (It is done to convert Alternate UOM to main UOM so that final cost or BOM can be prepared), sales price, Cost Price & weight.

• Click on “UPDATE”.
• Item variants can be created.

Bundle Simple Item Type

Bundle Simple refers to the combination of the item whose specification are defined it means that we cannot configure those items. Combinations which can be made through these are :

1. Simple Item + Simple Item
2. Simple Item + Configurable Item (With defined values)
3. Configurable Item (With defined Values) + Configurable Item (With defined values)

Create Bundle Simple Items

• Go to Masters tab > Item > Item.
• Click on “Add Item” button.
• In Add Item pop up, enter all the details.
• Item Name where name of the Item will be added.
• Select Item type as Bundle Simple from the Drop Down.
• Select UOM from the drop down, to know how to add UOM click here.
• Select Item Category as “Finish”, “Raw Material” and “Sub Assembly” from drop down.
• Select Item Group from the drop down, to know how to add Item Group click here.
• Select status as “Active” from the drop down.
• Click on “Save” button.

Bundle Configurable Items

Bundle Configurable refers to the combination of the item whose specification are not defined it means that we can configure those items. We can configure the specification at the time of placing the Sales Order. Combinations which can be made through these are :

1. Simple Item + Configurable Item
2. Configurable Item + Configurable Item

• Go to Masters tab > Item > Item.
• Click on “Add Item” button.
• In Add Item pop up, enter all the details.
• Item Name where name of the Item will be added.
• Select Item type as Bundle Configurable from the Drop Down.

• Select Item Category as “Finish”, “Raw Material” and “Sub Assembly” from drop down.

Simple Items

Simple Items are those items which are unique in their specification is unique in it’s own way. That simply implies that it cannot be present in single form. No other variants is available in terms of Size color and any more.

Create Simple item

• Go to Masters tab > Item > Item.
• Click on “Add Item” button.
• In Add Item pop up, enter all the details.
• Item Name where name of the Item will be added.
• Select Item type as Simple from the Drop Down.
• Select UOM from the drop down, to know how to add UOM click here.
• Select Item Category as “Finish”, “Raw Material” and “Sub Assembly” from drop down.
• Select Item Group from the drop down, to know how to add Item Group click here.
• Select status as “Active” from the drop down.
• Click on “Save” button.

Configurable Items

Configurable items are those Items which are having different configuration is terms of Sizes, Color, brands and many more. A single item which can be differentiated in terms of Length, breadth, height, Color is treated as “Variant” of that item

Create Configurable item

• Go to Masters tab > Item > Item.
• Click on “Add Item” button.
• In Add Item pop up, enter all the details.
• Item Name where name of the Item will be added.
• Select Item type as Configurable from the Drop Down.
• Select UOM from the drop down, to know how to add UOM click here.
• Select Item Category as “Finish”, “Raw Material” and “Sub Assembly” from drop down.
• Select Item Group from the drop down, to know how to add Item Group click here.
• Select status as “Active” from the drop down.
• Click on “Save” button.

Creation of “Variants” of Configurable item

• Click on “Variant” tab.
• In Variant tab, click on “Edit” button.
• Select the Attributes from drop down.
• Select the Sizes, Color and brand according to need.
• Switch the button from off-to-on by dragging the cursor in the toggle.
• We can also define Variants in terms of Length, breadth, height here x refers of Length, y refers to breadth, and c refers of height.
• We can define Length by toggling the cursor from Off to On, then click on Configure.
• Then we can add name of attribute as Length then can add number of Length attributes.
• In the same manner we can “Y” and “Z” attributes also.
• Add other item details like main UOM, Alternate UOM etc.
• Select UOM from the drop down, to know how to add UOM click here.
• Enter Conversion formula this formula will be the calculation of Alternate UOM to Maine UOM.
• Enter Sales Price, Reference Sales Price, Weight and Weight UOM from the Drop down.
• Applied Unit for Pricing refers to Pricing which need to be done on Either main Unit or Alternate Unit.
• Click on “Update” button.

Checking Variants details

• Click on Variants details tab.
• In the Variant details tab, list of Variants are visible there.
• Click on Edit tab, in that you can edit the details.
• Sales Price if you want the same you have created click on “Sales Price ” tab it will automatically take sales price that we have created while creating Variant.
• Click on “Update” button.

Item types offered in Ease My Production:

Simple Item type

Simple item is a unique standalone product that comes in standard size, color or shape. This item type can be sold individually or can be group with any Bundle Simple or Bundle Config item type.

Configurable Item Type

Configurable item is an item type that offer lot of sizes, colors, brands variety to choose from. Create multiple variants of main configurable item. Define sizes, color etc one time in the main item and the system will automatically create variants.

Advantages Configurable Item

• Manage large variety of products easily
• Multiple variants (treated individually) helps in easy tracking of inventory and order planning
• Easily customize products
• Book orders as per customer requirement

Bundle Simple Item Type

Bundle simple is an item type that can be created by combining set of any simple and configurable variant. Each item in a bundle is a separate and standalone product.

This item type can be created with combination of any-

• Simple Item + Simple Item
• Configurable Item Variant + Configurable Item Variant
• Simple Item + Configurable Variant

You can define the price and quantity of every individual item that is part of bundle simple item type.

Bundle Config Item type

Bundle Config is an advanced extension of Bundle Simple item type. This item type is created by combining set of any simple and configurable main item.

• Simple Item + Simple Item
• Configurable Main Item + Configurable Main Item
• Simple item + Configurable main item

• Easily customize products
• Book made to order products easily as per customer requirement
• Highly suitable when there are lot of configurations and options to choose from

Extra Charges are the additional charges that are added in customer sales order, vendor purchase order. For eg – delivery charges, installation charges, round off charges etc.

Types of Extra Charges

• Define extra charges on the basis of Percentage or Fixed Amount. Percentage will calculate on item total and fixed amount will display the amount mentioned.
• Define calculation type Add or Subtract. On adding it will add the % or fixed amount and on subtract it will subtract the % or amount. For eg – Round Off extra charge can be defined in subtract. so it will round off/minus the decimal figure in sales order if required.

Adding Extra Charges

1. Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
2. Go to Inventory > Masters > Extra Charges.
3. Click “Add Extra Charge” button.
4. On Extra Charge page, fill the required name field.
5. On Charge Type choose “Amount or Percent“
6. On Calculate with, choose “Add or Subtract” from the Totals.
7. Select status from dropdown Active/Inactive.
8. Incase you want to edit the extra charges in future, you can do so following above steps and click on “Update”

Tax master is a tool which helps to define tax structure applied on products and category which will be followed in sales order, invoices, purchase orders etc.

Add Tax

1. Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
2. Go to Inventory > Masters > Tax Master.
3. On the Tax Master page, click “Add Tax” button.

4. On the Add Tax page, fill the “Tax name”. For eg – IGST, CGST, SGST.
5. On Tax Rate mention the tax percentage i.e 18, 9 etc.
6.  Select Status from dropdown Active/Inactive.
7. Click on “Submit”
8. You can reset the tax structure anytime by pressing “Reset”. Also if you want to make any changes, go to tax page, make the changes and click on “Update”

UOM refers of Unit of Measure that will be defined with every item. For eg – Nos, Metre, Square Meter etc.

Add UOM

1. Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
2. Go to Inventory > Masters > UOM.
3. On UOM page, click “Add UOM” button.
4. On the Add UOM, fill the required details
5. Select Status Active/Inactive
6. Click on “Submit”
7. You can change/edit name and status anytime in future. Go to UOM page, make the changes and click on “Update”
