This is use to lock and freeze all the manufacturing related data of the item. Once the item is locked, only user having the editing rights will be able to edit. This is useful so that manufacturing data does not get disturbed.

Create Locking Unlocking Item

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Manufacturing > Masters > Item.
• In the Item List page, click any item displaying in the grid.
• Click on Lock button.

Unlocking of Item

After Locking of the data if any changes were need to do in BOM due to some emergency or when some new products is come and wants to replace the old one. Then Unlocking of the Item were done. After that we can modify the changes and then can again Lock the Item again.

Easy uploads and management of any order data with help of this button. Upload any document, image, data, excels or any other type of file and maintain full documentation. All types of files are supported. To upload/view document –

1. Click on the Document Upload/View button on the Sales Order Page.
2. Upload document pop up window will open.
3. Write description of file name/type. Then Click on “Choose File”. Select file from your computer library. You can choose 1 single file at a time.
4. Click on Add if you would like to add more files. Repeat the same process as point no 3.
5. Once done, then click on Save.
6. To delete any file, click on Delete button
7. After Saving, the entire list of uploaded documents will be shown below under the download documents tab.
8. You can download files anytime anywhere whenever required. Also you can delete files if required.
9. Click on Save

This feature is used to Bulk update of the of the items in either of One group, One type, One Category. In this we can simply update the details which needs to be change in a single click.

Create Bulk Update

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Masters tab > Item > Item.
• Click on “BULK UPDATE” button.
• Click on “EDIT” tab.
• After that, you can filter the data according to your need from the above menus. Like if you want only Raw material item select “Raw Material” from Item Category.
• If you want to add more columns or you want to editing in a selected Column, Click on “Column tab” and select that particular column.
• Do Updation after that.
• Click on “Update“, then your data is bulkily updated.

Bulk Upload is the very convenient functionality is our ERP. In this all the masters like Customer, Vendor & Item details can be uploaded in a single click. As we know when a new company is created, all the masters need to be added. Create Bulk Item Upload Items

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Masters tab > Item > Item.
• Click on “BULK” button.
• After clicking on BULK button format page in appear according to which data need to be present in Excel sheet.
• Synchronize Excel sheet with the above format.
• Click on EDIT Insert the Excel Column Name which is present the upload Excel sheet.
• After Editing, Click on “NEXT” tab.
• Upload the Excel file from where data need to be uploaded.
• Click on “Upload and Preview”.
• When the Uploaded data is matched, Click on “Confirm” tab.
• Then data is uploaded.

When any configurable item is created, it’s variants are also created parallelly so that it can be easy to find out in which forms it can be distinguish. So that we can easily create BOM, SO, PO etc. for those Items.

Steps to create Variants of Configurable item

When you create Configurable item and after it is successfully saved when you open the item you’ll see the next tab in which “Item Variant” is written. So, Now let’s proceed how to create variants to Configurable items.

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Manufacturing > Masters > Items.
• Click on the Item you have created which is appearing in the grid
• Click on “Variant Creation” tab.
• Click on “Edit”.
• After clicking on Edit, “Size Units”, “Attribute Color” & “Other Attribute” are added accordingly to added these attributes while creating Item.

SIZE UNITS

For differentiating in terms of Size we can add Size attributes in our item. For e.g. : If our item is one but has different sizes in terms of length, breadth & height. Then we can add ‘n’ numbers of Length, breadth and height variants.

COLOR

If our item is having different shades in single item, then we can add number of colors. We can also differentiate our item if it is available in colors in edges, legs and many more.

OTHER ATTRIBUTES

If our item is is having other differentiating feature other than Size and color like brand name then we can add those attributes here.

OTHER ITEM DETAILS

In this we can add other details like UOM, Alternate UOM(Alternate UOM is used when the raw material is calculated in other UOM), Conversion formula (It is done to convert Alternate UOM to main UOM so that final cost or BOM can be prepared), sales price, Cost Price & weight.

• Click on “UPDATE”.
• Item variants can be created.

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Manufacturing > Operations > Open Issue to Warehouse.
• In Open Issue to Warehouse, click on “Add Issue” tab.
• In Add Issue Popup, enter all the details.

• Select Issue No., Operations, Warehouse from the drop down.
• Click on Add Item, then select the items.
• Click on Submit > Approve.

Additional requisition is raise for those items which are needed for the particular items which are either not in stock and needed for replacement. In short additional replacement is to be made for those raw materials which are outside from the BOM.

Steps to raise additional requisition

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Manufacturing > Operations > Material Procurement> Add req. to warehouse
• In Requisition To Warehouse, click on “Additional Requisition” tab.

• In the Requisition to Warehouse, enter all the details.
• Click on Submit > Approve.

Types of Process

There are two types of process that need to be follow for issuing the items:

1. If item is present in stock, then directly starts manufacturing of FG item.
2. if item is not present, then first have to the material Requisition, then starts making FG item.

Steps to raise material to Warehouse

Please note to be in Manufacturing facility for raising the requisition to Warehouse.

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Manufacturing > Operations > Material Procurement> Requisition to Warehouse.
• In Requisition To Warehouse Order Based, click on “Add Requisition” tab.

Note: Please Note the status should be “Processing” and Procurement status should be “Requisition Pending”.

• Click on Requisition to Warehouse, click on “Add Requisition”.
• Then list of items will appear.
• Select the Requisition by clicking the quantity in front of it.

Note: For simple items add the quantity simply while in Configurable item add the quantity by clicking in “Configurable tab”.

Packing details of the BOM items is what are dimensions required to item to be pack in and in how many packets of the same will be required for the same.

Steps to create Packing details

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Manufacturing > Masters > Item.
• Click on any item grid.
• Click on “Packet details” tab, next to Item Route tab.
• Click on Edit > Add Row.
• In the Row appear enter all the details.

• Click on “Save”.

How to create BOM Packing details

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Manufacturing > Masters > Item.
• Click on any item grid.
• Click on “BOM Packet details” tab, next to Packet Details tab.
• Click on Edit > Save.
