What is BOM(Bill of Material)

Bill of material is a one of the Production Planning master data which contains information like list of components and its quantity required to produce an assembly or FG.

Points to remember

• Bill Of Material can be made only of Manufactured “Yes” item.
• BOM can be made of Sub-Assembly and Finished good items only.

Steps for creating BOM

• Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
• Go to Manufacturing > Masters > Item.
• Click on any item grid.
• Click on “BOM” tab, next to Item details tab.
• Click on Edit > Add item.
• In the grid which is open, select the items.
• Click on Done > Update.
