What is a Sales Order

 A sales order specifies the details about products and/or services ordered by a specific customer along with the price, quantity and terms and conditions. Businesses use it as a confirmation document that is sent to the customers before delivery of goods or service.

Note: We can create SO (Sales Order) of any Item like Simple, Configurable, Bundle Simple, Bundle Configurable.

There are two ways to book Sales Order:

  • Generation from Quote
  • Directly from the Warehouse

Steps to create SO from Quotation in Order Processing Facility

Note: Please make sure to be in “Order Processing” facility.

  • Log in to “Ease My Production” Software with login credentials.
  • Go to Order Processing > Operations > Quotation Forms.
  • Click on “Add Quotation” tab.
  • Then Add Quotation page will appear.
  • Fill the mandatory details which appear in the page like : Autogenerated No. Reference No. Etc.
  • Select Autogenerated No., Customer, Payment mode, Country State from the drop down.
  • Click on “Add Item” tab.
  • Click on Submit > Approve.
  • To generate order click on Generate Order > Submit.

How to Add Item while creating Sales Order

  • Click on “Add Item” tab in down below in Sales Order Page.
ADD ITEM
  • After then Item Page will appear Select Items Like Simple, Configurable, Bundle Simple, Bundle Configurable by clicking on check box in front of item.
Bundle Items
  • Click on “Done”.
  • Enter the Order Quantity of each item it will take child items value automatically as it is mentioning in creating value.

In this way all Simple, Configurable, Bundle Simple and Bundle Configurable items are added while making SO.

  • Click on Submit > Approve.

Steps to create Sales Order Directly from the Warehouse

Note:

While Creating Sales Order you need raise Quotation you can directly create Order from Sales Order by Clicking “Add Sales Order”.
